Job Description
Position Summary Shaw Concepts is seeking an organized, hands-on Cutting Operations Lead to manage daily cutting priorities and produce components for tactical nylon equipment. This role coordinates work across Thunder Laser equipment, Sheffield hot and cold blade cutting machines, die-cut presses, and manual table cutting while ensuring quality and alignment with production schedules and deadlines. Responsibilities Build and manage the daily cutting schedule based on production priorities, material availability, and deadlines. Assign and coordinate work across laser cutting, die-press cutting, and manual table-cutting operations. Set up and operate Thunder Laser equipment, Sheffield hot and cold blade cutting machine, die cut presses, and manual table-cutting methods. Monitor output and inspect cut components for accuracy, quality, and consistency. Identify equipment, material, file, pattern, or capacity issues and communicate their effect on production deadlines.
