Preferred Qualifications CNC setup or programming experience, metal fabrication experience, or vocational training in machining/manufacturing.
Job Duties:
Operate CNC laser cutting equipment and machining tools to produce precision metal parts. Read blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure accurate production. Perform sawing, bending, drilling, tapping, and basic lathe operations as needed. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools. Perform basic machine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and maintain a clean, safe work area. What You Will Do As a Laser Operator you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures. A Laser Operator helps manufacture precision-engineered products through the operation and monitoring of CNC machinery. This position requires strong technical skills, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to consistently produce accurate work. The Laser Operator applies machining knowledge, inspection techniques, and problem-solving ability to maintain quality standards while supporting efficient production.
