$19/hr Job Description This role focuses on light assembly work within a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. You will assemble components, follow detailed written instructions, and use computers and test equipment to ensure products meet quality and safety standards. This is a first-shift position with opportunities for overtime and long-term employment. Responsibilities Perform light assembly of parts and components according to written work instructions and standard operating procedures. Read and follow detailed instructions in English to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently. Use touchscreen computers and a mouse to access work instructions, record production data, and navigate relevant software. Operate basic manufacturing machinery and test equipment as required for the assembly process. Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering when needed, following safety and quality guidelines. Inspect assembled parts for quality, ensuring they meet established standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work cell, keeping tools, equipment, and materials in proper order. Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies while working on the production line. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. Adapt to overtime schedules when required, including extended weekday hours and occasional Saturday shifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofWOODRIDGE, IL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
