Coning Operator:
Insert cones into garage door torsion springs using coning machines and auxiliary equipment. Complete products to meet customer and quality specifications. Load and organize finished products onto pallets or carts, ensuring proper quantities and labeling. Operate banding equipment and tag pallets for identification. Troubleshoot equipment and ensure efficient workflow, including staging and moving materials. Maintain compliance with safety, housekeeping, and 5S standards. Complete all required paperwork and tracking forms accurately. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency. Communicate progress, quality concerns, and rework needs to supervisors. Collaborate effectively across teams and shifts. Requirements of the
Coning Operator:
High school diploma or GED required. Manufacturing experience preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to anticipate production needs and meet established hourly production rates. Proficient in basic math and capable of following written, oral, and diagram instructions. Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
$21.50 per hour (weekly pay)
