The work is very fast paced and the days fly by. We are looking for people who want to help the company grow and succeed and who take pride in their work and in their team's work. Our team loves to teach people who love to learn. Must be able to work on your feet for 10-hour shifts and be able to regularly and easily lift 50 lbs. We follow GMP's which means no food or jewelry in the work area and strict uniform and hygiene practices.
Summary:
Use product batch records to verify, measure, label and document raw materials in preparation for processing.
Work Schedule:
1st Shift/5:00am-3:30pm (occasional overtime on Fridays may be required) Essential Job Responsibilities - will include, but are not limited to: Clean all areas and equipment to be used, verifying it is free of contaminants. Verify that all necessary materials are correct, present, released, and within the expiration period. Verify all ingredients so they match the batch record. Open bags, boxes and other containers. Use scales to measure raw materials and repackage to send to Blending. Weigh drums individually and all together to recording then verify the weight. Label all containers appropriately including product name, Lot number, weight, number of doses. Use logbooks to document raw materials, equipment, product tracking, etc. Assure that products leaving the department are stored in the proper areas. Maintain a clear understanding of the company GMPs. Follow all safety policies and ensure work environment is free of safety hazards.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read and write basic English Ability to lift 40lbs from ground to waist frequently Basic math knowledge (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) Ability to work 10 hours a day standing up
