Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Packager, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of products in a fast-paced production environment. As a Packager, you will be instrumental in maintaining product integrity, supporting warehouse operations, and upholding GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) regulations. Duties Operate packaging equipment safely and efficiently, including automated and manual packaging lines, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Interpret production documents such as batch records, work orders, and packing instructions to accurately assemble, package, and label products. Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks using material handling equipment such as forklifts, ensuring proper safety protocol adherence at all times. Conduct quality checks throughout the packaging process to verify product integrity, proper labeling, and compliance with FDA regulations and GMP standards. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with packaging machinery promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, including production logs, incident reports, and inspection records. Support warehouse operations by organizing materials, managing inventory levels, and ensuring safe storage practices. Requirements Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with familiarity in
GMP, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and FDA regulations. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and mechanical issues effectively. Experience operating packaging equipment and material handling tools such as forklifts; forklift certification is preferred. Strong understanding of manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production document interpretation. Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and quality control checks. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including safety protocol adherence during heavy lifting and machinery operation. Ability to perform physical tasks involving standing for long periods, repetitive motions, lifting heavy objects safely, and working in a fast-paced setting. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in packaging processes.
