Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Machine Operator to join our dynamic food production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining bakery machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality baked goods. Your expertise in machine operation, food safety standards, and mechanical troubleshooting will contribute to our commitment to delivering fresh, safe, and delicious products. Responsibilities:

• Use a mixer machine and dough machine to make cake and bread
• Organize, grade, weigh and inspect frozen products to ensure quality
• Use materials effectively to minimize waste
• Visually identify quality and freshness
• Appropriately seal, package, load, ship and place products
• Maintain and adjust machinery to needs
• Report any problems and potential risks to the supervisor
• Maintain a clean and safe working area to meet all state/ federal/ local sanitary laws
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bakery experience and knowledge are preferred, but not required
• Have a Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain one
• Operate and clean the equipment safely and correctly
• Have excellent communication skills and willingness to help
• Require long periods of standing/walking and frequently lifting up to 25+ lbs objects
• Bilingual in Mandarin/ Cantonese/ Spanish is a plus
• Authorized to work legally in the US without sponsorship
• Work at assigned schedules, including early morning shift, weekend and holidays.

Duties Operate bakery machinery such as mixers, ovens, conveyors, and dough sheeters in accordance with manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs). Monitor machine performance during production runs, making adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and consistency. Conduct routine sanitation of equipment and work areas following HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards to ensure food safety. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and basic repairs on machinery to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Handle materials manually and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and inventory management. Adhere strictly to safety protocols including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use, heavy lifting techniques, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production. Document production data accurately, including batch records, maintenance logs, and quality control reports. Support food safety management practices by following sanitation procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards in food handling and preparation.
