Local, well established dealership specializing in industrial equipment and gases has an immediate opening for a full-time Cylinder Filler/Yard Assistant. Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Accurately label, tag and prepare cylinders for shipment. Loading cylinders on and off pallets ensuring they are secured. Moving cylinders to designated work areas using appropriate and safe work methods (ie: rolling, carts, pallets). Examining all cylinders for defects, dents, cracks, burns, etc. Cleaning, removing old labels and preforming minor repairs and maintenance on cylinders. Understanding hazards of gasses, sizes and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and color-coding of tanks. Maintaining sufficient stock of gasses to meet customer demands. Assist in maintaining accurate quality control fill records. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements/ Skills and Abilities:

Working mostly outdoors in all weather environments. Must be able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders (Lift 50-75 pounds). Performing work during prolonged period of standing. Strong work ethic. Work independently and with others. Be a self starters.

Qualifications include:

a High School diploma or GED , a valid drivers license, ability to lift 50 lbs., good people skills, trainable, basic math skills, detail oriented, and pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen. Work schedule is 7:30 - 4:30 Mon through Fri. Competitive pay depending on experience.
