As a Materials Sortation Technician, you'll keep product moving by classifying items accurately, catching defects early, and supporting a clean, safe work area. Your day will blend focused sorting with teamwork to hit production goals. A day in the role Start your shift by preparing your station and reviewing sorting criteria. Sort and classify a steady flow of materials according to set guidelines and labels. Inspect items for damage or quality concerns and flag discrepancies immediately. Help with loading and unloading materials to keep operations flowing. Keep your area neat and organized to maintain safety and efficiency. Collaborate with teammates to achieve daily targets while following all safety procedures. What you'll accomplish Consistent, accurate sorting aligned with operational standards. Reliable quality checks and timely reporting of issues. A tidy, well-maintained workstation that supports safe work. Productive support for material movement across the facility. What you bring High school diploma or GED preferred. Background in general labor, warehouse, or sorting is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and SOPs. Clear communication skills and a team-first mindset. Flexibility to work varying hours, with overtime as needed. Experience that helps Shipping and receiving familiarity. Hands-on warehouse experience. Material handling, including heavy items. Basic mechanical assembly exposure. Packaging know-how.
