City of Industry, CA Shift:
M-F, 5:45am - 2:30pm
Pay:
up to $24.00
Position Overview:
The Machine Shop Operator is responsible for operating CNC lathes to manufacture precision parts. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate CNC Lathe Machines including OKUMA and HAAS machines Set up, edit programs, and operate CNC lathe Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications Use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure part accuracy Identify and work with various types of shop materials Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed Ensure all parts meet quality standards and tolerances Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
CNC Lathe machining experience required Experience with OKUMA and/or HAAS machines preferred Ability to set up and edit CNC programs preferred Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments Knowledge of different metals and shop materials Strong attention to detail and reliability
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
