Job Description

We are hiring a Winder to operate specialized winding machinery utilized in electrical transformer production. This technical position requires blueprint interpretation, mechanical aptitude, and strict compliance with design specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor precision winding machines used to manufacture transformer coils. Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and production schedules accurately. Monitor machine performance continuously, making basic mechanical adjustments to maintain tension and alignment. Inspect finished coils for correct turns, insulation integrity, and dimensional conformance. Maintain accurate production logs, labor tracking, and quality documentation. Ensure proper handling of conductive metals, insulation materials, and specialized tooling. Follow established safety protocols and quality control guidelines at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Prior machine operation, manufacturing, or mechanical assembly experience required. Background in transformer manufacturing, electrical equipment assembly, aerospace, cabinetry, or precision fabrication preferred. Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings. Strong mechanical inclination with problem-solving capabilities. Detail-oriented approach with a focus on high-precision craftsmanship.
Pay:
From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 76.0 per week
