We are looking for a Wire Cutter / Production Specialist to measure, cut, and prepare production materials. This role is vital in fabricating exact lengths of electrical wire, insulation paper, and specialized materials according to engineering work orders.

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and prep electrical wire, cabling, insulation paper, and related transformer materials. Review work orders, cut lists, and job specifications to confirm exact dimensions. Utilize tape measures, precision cutting blades, and industrial cutting equipment safely and accurately. Operate water hoses and wash stations to clean and prepare materials or equipment as required. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including jumpsuits and specialized safety gear. Inspect cut materials for clean edges, accurate lengths, and zero defects. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe preparation area.

Qualifications & Skills:

Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or industrial production setting preferred. Mechanically inclined with high accuracy in measuring and mathematical conversions. Proficient in using tape measures, hand shears, and cutting tools. Comfortable working with wash equipment/water hoses and wearing required protective jumpsuits. Dependable team player with the ability to follow written and verbal production instructions.

Pay:

From $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 76.0 per week
