Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Machinery Operator and become a vital part of construction and utility projects that shape communities! In this energetic role, you will operate a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks, to execute excavation, grading, utility locating, and site preparation tasks. Your expertise will ensure that construction sites are safe, efficient, and compliant with all safety regulations. We're looking for motivated individuals who thrive in active environments and are passionate about delivering quality results on every project. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks to perform excavation, grading, and utility work with precision and safety. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with construction utility work by locating underground utilities accurately to prevent damage during excavation activities. Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Support construction site activities by performing tasks related to site preparation, grading, and utility installation under supervision. Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance schedules, and safety inspections for accountability and compliance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the safe and efficient operation of all heavy machinery on-site. Must have experience with D6 Dozer, 84" Padfoot compactor, Wheel loader and water truck.

!! Skills Proven experience operating construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and water trucks in diverse environments. Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on heavy equipment. Ability to perform construction utility work including utility locating with specialized tools. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety protocols during operation. Skilled in construction grading techniques to ensure proper site elevation and drainage. Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving is preferred. Familiarity with excavation procedures, construction site experience, and utility work enhances your effectiveness on the job. Excellent understanding of equipment safety procedures combined with a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
