Our company offers a challenging and rewarding environment with an opportunity for career growth. We are specifically searching for candidates that have worked as electronic technician with 1- 4 years of related experience performing machine operation in all, some, or any of these machines - SMT pick & place machines, AOI machine, Selective soldering machine, and Wave solder. Experience in repairs and troubleshooting of machines, as well as familiarity with the intricacies of printed circuit boards are very helpful. Certified in IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J standards is a big plus. Strong electronic component identification knowledge is also required. Duties Set up, program and operate production machinery in the SMT, AOI, Wave Solder, and Selective Solder in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Reads and interprets Visual Aids and diagrams to select position and secure machinery. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion. Utilize quality practices and procedures to assure that the assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured. Inspect PCB's for solder quality and cleanliness to ensure that process is compliant. Reading and interpreting schematic diagrams and technical drawings to understand assembly instructions Using testing and diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot faults and failures in the circuit boards Repairing or replacing faulty electronic components on the PCBs Maintains a clean, neat and orderly area. Provide proper Maintenance for all Manufacturing equipment and update records as needed. Provide assistance to Production Manager in the repair and upkeep of machinery. Understanding of electrical system Experience in machining processes and techniques. Ability to fabricate components with precision using various tools. Knowledge of logic controllers and PCB assembly is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated
Knowledge/Skills:
Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the electronics manufacturing field. Knowledge of Production machinery preferably (Wave Solder, Selective Solder, and Aqueous Cleaning) Familiarity with computers Understanding of IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies is a plus A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and with customers.
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
