Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient packaging of products in accordance with manufacturing standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality output, optimize packaging processes, and support overall production goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are paramount. Duties Operate and maintain various packaging equipment, including automated and manual systems, ensuring smooth production flow Interpret production documents such as batch records, work orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to accurately execute packaging tasks Perform mechanical troubleshooting on packaging machinery to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation Handle materials safely using appropriate materials handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to safety standards in production Conduct quality checks on packaged products to verify compliance with FDA regulations, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and other industry standards Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols diligently during all packaging activities Assist with warehouse operations including inventory management, heavy lifting, and proper storage of materials and finished goods Support manufacturing team in assembly tasks and industrial equipment troubleshooting as needed to maintain efficiency Skills Strong understanding of manufacturing facility operations and packaging processes Knowledge of FDA regulations, CGMP guidelines, and GMP standards relevant to pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing Experience operating packaging equipment and industrial machinery with mechanical troubleshooting skills Ability to interpret production documents accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques Proficiency in basic math for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing systems Experience with material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks while adhering to safety standards Knowledge of safety protocol adherence in a manufacturing environment including heavy lifting practices Warehouse operations experience including inventory control and materials management Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills for maintaining compliance and quality standards
Pay:
$25.47 - $30.67 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
