Full Job Description Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up and operate die-cutting and converting equipment according to job specifications and written work instructions. Load raw materials, adjust tooling, and perform first-piece approvals prior to full production runs. Monitor machinery during operation to identify and resolve quality issues, material jams, or defects. Perform routine in-process quality checks against dimensional and visual specifications. Conduct basic operator-level maintenance, including equipment cleaning, lubrication, and primary troubleshooting. Accurately track and document production counts, scrap rates, and downtime per shift protocols. Adhere strictly to all plant safety guidelines, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and machine guarding standards.

Top Qualifications:

Manufacturing Experience:

Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment (experience with die-cutting, converting, or printing equipment is preferred, but not required).

Mechanical Aptitude & Independence:

Strong mechanical problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret basic specifications, work instructions, and perform material or tooling adjustments independently.

Safety Commitment:

Proven track record of strict compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, machine guarding regulations, and workplace safety standards.
