Full Job Description Machine Shop Helper I Location:

Fullerton, CA Pay:

$21.00/hr

Schedule:

1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30

PM Overtime:

Weekday and/or Saturday overtime may be required based on business needs

Worksite:

1405 E. Orangethorpe Ave., Fullerton, CA 92831 Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of related experience and/or training , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hands-on experience using hand, pneumatic, and/or electrical tools , such as drills, hammers, saws, and similar equipment.
• Ability to perform general machine shop, production, material handling, and housekeeping duties.
• Ability to load and unload trucks and move materials safely.
• Ability to identify parts and place them in the correct designated areas/order.
• Ability to assist machine operators with general duties and material preparation.
• Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Ability to follow safety rules, company procedures, and supervisor instructions.
• Ability to operate a forklift and man lift in accordance with OSHA-approved safety practices. Key Responsibilities
• Remove and weigh machine chips/material waste as required.
• Load and unload trucks and assist with material movement.
• Set up and stage parts in designated areas for processing.
• Identify parts and ensure the correct parts are placed in the proper sequence/location.
• Assist machine operators with general machine shop and production duties.
• Use hand, pneumatic, and electrical tools such as drills, hammers, and saws.
• Report material, storage, part-placement, or machine-related issues to the supervisor.
• Operate forklift and man lift safely when required and authorized.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation using basic cleaning equipment such as mops and brooms.

Pay:

$18.75 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
