Key Responsibilities Operate Barudan multi-head and single-head embroidery machines to job specifications. Hoop and load garments, caps, and bags with the correct backing/stabilizer for each material. Thread machines and set/match thread colors (Madeira) to the approved design. Load and run digitized files; confirm design placement, size, and orientation before running. Monitor machines during production (700-800 RPM), watch for thread breaks, and adjust as needed. Trim, clean, and finish embroidered pieces; apply appliqué where required. Use Codewolf to access and track job orders; inspect work against the approved proof and flag issues. Perform routine machine care and keep a clean, organized, and safe work area. Lift and move boxes/bags up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and support other departments as needed. Requirements High School Diploma or GED; 2+ years of embroidery or sewing experience preferred. Experience operating commercial or multi-head embroidery machines (Barudan a plus). Ability to read and understand job orders and approved proofs in English. Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and comfort with machinery in a fast-paced environment. Physically capable of long hours on your feet and lifting up to 40 lbs.
