FULL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Press Machine Operator to support machine operation within a shop environment. This role is responsible for setting up and operating machinery, following workplace safety procedures, and working effectively with team members in a fast-paced industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have press machine operation experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a loud, hands-on shop environment. Hours are Monday through Friday, 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Setting up and operating machines in a shop environment Operating equipment that may include lathes, vertical boring mills, punch presses, threaders, grinders, and related machinery Following work instructions, production requirements, and safety procedures Understanding and complying with workplace safety regulations Working effectively with team members in a loud industrial environment Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area Monitoring machine operation and reporting issues as needed Handling materials, parts, and tools as required for production Supporting daily shop and production needs as assigned The selected candidate will also possess: 2+ years of press machine operation experience preferred 1+ year of mechanical or industrial experience required Ability to work in a shop or industrial environment Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Strong attention to safety and quality Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to work Monday through Friday from 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screen

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to handle heavy objects, materials, parts, and tools for extended periods as needed Ability to work in a loud shop environment Ability to use hands and arms to operate machinery, tools, and equipment Ability to work around industrial machines and follow all required safety procedures Ability to wear required personal protective equipment as needed Ability to perform physically active work for the duration of the shift
