We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious operator with hands-on experience operating Bobcats/skid steers, excavators, and drilling equipment on active construction sites. Previous heavy equipment operating experience is required.
Schedule:
8 hours per day
Starting Wage:
$18.50 per hour Actual pay will be discussed during the hiring process and may vary based on experience, skill level, and qualifications. Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate Bobcats/skid steers, excavators, and drilling equipment Perform excavation, grading, trenching, drilling, loading, backfilling, and related construction work Maneuver equipment safely in active and potentially tight jobsite conditions Follow project plans, grade requirements, and instructions from supervisors Work safely around underground utilities, structures, workers, and other equipment Assist with general jobsite duties when equipment operation is not required Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures Requirements Previous experience operating heavy construction equipment is required Must have experience operating Bobcats/skid steers and excavators Drilling equipment experience strongly preferred Ability to safely perform excavation, grading, trenching, and related earthwork Ability to perform basic equipment inspections and recognize mechanical issues Good understanding of construction jobsite safety Ability to follow directions and work effectively with a crew Dependable, punctual, and responsible Ability to work outdoors and perform physically demanding work as needed Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Excavation and earthwork Drilling Shoring and foundation work Trenching Site preparation Grading Demolition Structural or general construction
