Job Description
Volt is Hiring! Volt is immediately hiring for a Machine Operator/Deburr & Polish Technician in Gardena, CA. As a Machine Operator/Deburr & Polish Technician, you will: Deburr and polish parts using a variety of hand tools and robotic equipment. Wash and de-grease parts for subsequent manufacturing operations. Perform complete and independent setups of various machine tools. Operate machines within their capacity while following O.I.S., blueprints/prints, sketches, and verbal or written instructions. Determine the proper sequence of operations, dimensions, tolerances, tooling, and methods for locating, aligning, and securing workpieces. Make machine adjustments to maintain efficient machining operations. Pre-set and/or sharpen cutting tools as required. Recognize improper machine functions and take appropriate corrective action. Communicate machine or process issues and provide information needed to resolve discrepancies. Deburr machine parts and break sharp edges as required. Maintain proper identification and traceability of machined parts. This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity!
Schedule:
Monday- Friday
- 10:45 pm to 5:15am with flexability to work overtime and weekends
- The shift pays 8 hours.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous manufacturing or machining experience. Experience with deburring, polishing, washing, or degreasing parts. Experience setting up and operating machine tools. Familiarity with cutting tools, machine adjustments, and basic equipment maintenance. Experience working in an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment is a plus.Pay Rate:
$21.00-24.00- Per Hour DOE
- Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
