Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Encapsulation Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team in Irwindale. In this vital role, you will operate and monitor encapsulation machinery used in pharmaceutical production, ensuring the efficient and compliant packaging of products. Your expertise will help maintain high-quality standards while adhering to strict regulatory guidelines such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and FDA regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of safe, effective products in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities Operate encapsulation machinery, including liquid filling and material handling equipment, ensuring optimal performance and output. Perform routine machine troubleshooting and mechanical adjustments to prevent downtime and maintain production flow. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process, verifying batch records, packaging integrity, and adherence to specifications. Interpret manufacturing documentation such as batch records, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions to ensure compliance with CGMP standards. Maintain a cleanroom environment by following sanitation protocols, sanitation schedules, and safety procedures. Use forklifts and pallet jacks for material handling, raw material staging, and finished product movement within the facility. Document all production activities accurately, including deviations or issues encountered during operations, in accordance with regulatory requirements. Experience Prior experience operating industrial equipment in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Familiarity with
GMP, CGMP, FDA
regulations, and safety protocols in a regulated production setting. Mechanical knowledge related to machinery troubleshooting and basic machining skills are advantageous. Experience with liquid filling processes, packaging operations, and material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Ability to interpret production documents accurately while maintaining attention to detail in a cleanroom environment. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to batch records, and quality assessments. Previous work experience in a pharmaceutical plant or regulated manufacturing facility is a strong plus.
