Shift:
4am Apprx to 2: 30 pm Apprx Job Description This position is responsible for producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell team. The role involves detailed assembly work and operation of equipment and machinery according to documented procedures. Responsibilities may include electronic assembly, casting/coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging activities. The position also includes cleaning tools and equipment per documented procedures and disposing of hazardous waste materials in designated hazardous waste areas. Key Responsibilities Assemble medical devices and related components. Work in a controlled cleanroom environment, depending on the assigned area. Use microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering equipment, adhesives, and other manufacturing equipment as required. Perform routine tasks following specified and standardized procedures. Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Perform testing using computerized test equipment. Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and appropriate tools. Package devices while ensuring accuracy of parts and completion of documentation. Maintain accurate production records, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents to ensure traceability and product quality. Follow all safety guidelines and use appropriate safety equipment during operations. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to improve production processes and achieve quality and profitability goals. Notify supervisors or leads when supplies/materials need replenishment or when production issues cannot be resolved. Work with Manufacturing Supervisors/Managers to set and monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment throughout the facility. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Ability to read, understand, and follow written English procedures at a 6th-grade level. Basic math skills at a 6th-grade level. Ability to speak, follow verbal instructions, and communicate effectively in English. Understanding of electronic data collection systems and computer software packages. Good manual dexterity to handle and maneuver small components and parts. Ability to prioritize work based on sequencing, timing, and importance. Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision. High school diploma required. 2+ years of experience.
