Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Tire Dismantler/Tire Machine Operator, where you'll play a vital role in the recycling and disposal process of tires and related materials. Responsibilities Operate tire dismantling machines and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to process tires for recycling or disposal Perform routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Handle recyclable tires and materials in accordance with hazardous materials regulations and environmental standards Assist with landfill management activities, including waste sorting, sanitation procedures, and environmental compliance efforts Maintain cleanliness of work areas by performing regular cleaning tasks and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials Adhere strictly to safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard awareness, and safety protocol adherence during all operations Requirements
TIRE MACHINE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
English/Spanish Mechanical knowledge related to tire dismantling equipment and material handling machinery Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions Knowledge of recycling processes, landfill management practices, and solid waste management regulations Familiarity with safety regulations concerning hazardous materials handling and environmental compliance Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and PPE use at all times during work activities Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods Valid certification or training in heavy equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Pay:
$200.00 - $250.00 per day
