Job Description

Our growing team is seeking an organized, and proactive candidate to fill the role of Laser Operator on our swing shift M-F 12:30PM - 9:00

PM Laser Operator:

Sets up, and operates Amada

FOM2 3015 NT

according to specifications of work orders.

Overview Of Responsibilities:

Review the schedule of jobs and execute plan within scheduled production time; report work via shop floor computer system.
Operates Laser Machine
Examines products for quality, and makes adjustments as needed.
Performs routine preventative maintenance on cutter machines, including cleaning scrap trays and filters.
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain housekeeping standards.
Assist in other finishing operations as needed.

Experience and Education :

5+ years of experience
Must know basic math and how to use basic measuring equipment a ruler, tape measure.
Must have basic computer knowledge; shop floor computer systems a plus.
Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to complete physical assessment
Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 pounds
Frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds using mechanical equipment
Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions
