The Pallet Wrapper / Strapper prepares outbound pallets for safe shipment by wrapping and strapping them according to standard procedures. This role helps ensure products arrive undamaged and shipments move out on schedule. Key Responsibilities Stretch-wrap pallets by hand or with a pallet wrapping machine so loads are stable and fully secured Apply plastic or poly strapping, or banding, to pallets that require extra reinforcement Inspect pallets for stability, proper stacking, and visible product damage before and after wrapping Verify that pallet labels and shipping documents match the load and are placed correctly on the wrapped pallet Move pallets to staging areas or dock doors using a pallet jack or powered equipment, if certified Maintain wrapping and strapping supplies, and restock film, straps, and corner protectors as needed Report damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or load discrepancies to a supervisor Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Meet daily productivity and quality targets
