The Role We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Waterjet Operator who is also an artist and craftsman . The right individual will not only run and maintain our

waterjet but also bring creativity, leadership, and problem-solving to the shop. You'll be responsible for the full waterjet process, from CAD prep to final fabrication, while helping keep our workspace organized and efficient. Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot OMAX waterjet systems Perform pump maintenance and rebuilds (plus if experienced) Prepare and run CAD/CAM files (, , OMAX Layout/Make) Interpret drawings and creative concepts for production and artistic projects Keep the waterjet center and shop organized, safe, and running smoothly Assist with general shop work , including fabrication and machine shop tasks Collaborate with the team on artistic design and custom fabrication projects Ensure accuracy, quality, and detail in all cuts and finished work Requirements Full-time dedication — self-motivated and reliable Knowledge of CAD and the OMAX waterjet process Hands-on experience operating an OMAX waterjet (3+ years preferred) Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Leadership qualities — able to work independently and "get it done" Artistic/fabrication background a strong plus (metal art, sculpture, design) Extra Skills That Set You Apart Ability to rebuild and maintain waterjet pumps Forklift operation experience Basic machine shop and metal fabrication abilities A personal craftsman's or artist's portfolio Compensation Competitive pay $25-$35/hr DOE Opportunities for overtime and creative projects Paid Holidays Why Join Us?
