Shift:
6 am - 2:30 pm 1st shift 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm 2nd shift 1.
JOB PURPOSE
Solaris is a tissue converting company with affiliated plants and warehouses across the US. Since 2007, we have steadily grown in the away from home (AFH), retail private label (PL) and retail branded (FIORA) sales channels. We offer competitive pay and benefits. We also offer 10 paid holiday each year and total of 15 days paid vacation & sick days. We are looking for various levels of machine operators. Will train entry level with no experience. We prefer tissue converting and/or manufacturing experience for Intermediate and advance levels. The Machine Operator positions report to the Team Leads and receive work direction from the Leads. 2.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 Responsible for the safe operation of the asset equipment and process  Comply with facility safety and attendance rules  Operate asset equipment safely to support and achieve customer satisfaction  Responsible for on-shift quality checks  Lead by example and provide a positive influence on the team  Identify and correct issues with equipment and process operation  Perform grade change activities  Report sub-standard issues to the Machine Leader  Provide Operator coverage of vacancy for other teams  Provide Operator coverage for breaks and lunches  Participate in assigned duties in support of achieving a World Class Manufacturing facility  Other duties as assigned 3.
WORKING RELATIONS
Internal  Reports to Machine Lead; performance reviews conducted by Team Leader External  Work closely with Maintenance, Quality & Material Handlers 4.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education and Experience Background:
 High School Diploma/equivalent  Demonstrate proficiency in reading/writing English  Basic computer skills preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
 Machine operation in a manufacturing environment preferred  Experience a plus  Good written and verbal communication skills
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
