Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packager to join our manufacturing team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by accurately packaging items according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Your proactive approach will help us deliver top-quality products to our customers while adhering to strict safety and manufacturing regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in packaging operations within a dynamic manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment efficiently, including automated and manual systems, ensuring proper functioning and troubleshooting mechanical issues as needed Follow manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines to maintain product integrity and safety standards Interpret production documents such as batch records, work orders, and packing instructions accurately to ensure correct packaging processes Handle materials safely using appropriate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to safety protocols at all times Perform heavy lifting and assembly tasks with proper technique to maintain productivity while preventing injury Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines and equipment, troubleshooting industrial machinery problems promptly to minimize downtime Maintain accurate documentation of packaging activities, including logs of completed tasks and quality checks Requirements Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred, with familiarity in packaging operations highly desirable Knowledge of
GMP, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments Mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment troubleshooting and maintenance is a plus Ability to interpret production documents and follow detailed instructions precisely Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality assessments Experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks; forklift certification is advantageous Strong adherence to safety protocols during heavy lifting, assembly, and materials handling tasks Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Join our team today! $24.78 - $29.84 per hour
