This role focuses on operating fabrication equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned . Operate Punch Press and support equipment Set up dies and operate shop equipment Set up Material Shear Material Deburr and sand parts to size Clean parts Notifies supervisor or lead person of discrepancies Participates in process improvement efforts with Manufacturing Engineering and Supervision Perform 1st article inspections using calipers and other basic measuring tools Ensures machinery and equipment is operational Clean machines and tooling Completes other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED
High school diploma or GED, two to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to document work and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to perform routine calculations and measurements accurately. Ability to safely lift to 30 pounds and perform repetitive manual tasks. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
PREFERRED 3 - 5
years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience working in aerospace, defense, automotive, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
SKILLS AND COMPENTENCIES
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. Attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to perform work requiring sustained concentration. Solid technical math and measurement skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, supervisors, and team members. Commitment to safety, housekeeping, and continuous improvement.
