Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Setup Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for setting up CNC milling machines, ensuring production runs efficiently, and maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up CNC milling machines for production runs (3-axis/4-axis experience preferred) Load tools, fixtures, and materials according to job specifications Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Perform first article inspections and in-process quality checks Adjust offsets and troubleshoot machining issues as needed Work closely with operators and supervisors to meet production goals Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

2+ years of CNC mill setup experience Strong understanding of G-code and machining principles Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Experience with tight tolerance machining Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Nice to

Have:

Experience with [Fanuc, Haas, or other control systems] Basic programming or editing experience Knowledge of different materials (aluminum, steel, plastics)
