This position is responsible for moving and staging materials, operating sanding, winding, and other production machinery, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. Responsibilities Move, load, unload, and stage raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility. Operate sanding machines, winding machines, and various other production machinery. Set up and adjust machinery according to established production procedures. Monitor equipment during operation and make basic adjustments as needed. Follow work instructions, production schedules, and established manufacturing procedures. Perform visual inspections of materials and finished products for quality and defects. Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment as required. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Keep work areas, machinery, and equipment clean and organized. Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies. Perform material handling duties, including lifting and transporting materials. Assist with other manufacturing and production activities as assigned. Cross-train on multiple pieces of production equipment and manufacturing processes. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, or material handling experience preferred. Ability to safely operate production machinery after training. Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment. Ability to lift and move materials as required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to work independently and as part of a production team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull materials. Ability to work around manufacturing machinery, noise, dust, and production equipment. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Schedule Multiple shifts may be available.
