Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Ability to accurately use a tape measure. Forklift experience preferred; ability to obtain certification required. Experience operating manufacturing equipment or saws is a plus. Job Duties Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Set up, operate, and maintain various saws. Cut raw materials to precise specifications. Verify dimensions and quality of finished products. Process job orders through the Made2Manage (M2M) system. Report specification or tolerance issues to supervision. Complete inspection records and reports. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Preferred Qualifications Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment. What You Will Do As a Machine Operator you will operate, monitor, adjust, and maintain manufacturing equipment to produce quality products according to production schedules and established procedures.
