TABLE TOP REWINDER / LABEL FINISHING OPERATORPOSITION SUMMARY
The Table Top Rewinder / Label Finishing Operator is responsible for inspecting, rewinding, repairing, and packaging finished pressure-sensitive labels. This position works closely with Production and Quality Control to ensure finished labels meet customer specifications and Paez Packaging quality standards before shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate table top label rewinders to complete production and rework assignments. Inspect finished labels for print quality, color, registration, die-cutting, missing labels, splices, damaged labels, and other defects. Rewind labels to the correct roll direction, quantity, and finished roll specifications. Remove defective labels and repair or replace labels when required. Verify label counts and finished roll quantities. Perform final quality inspections before labels are packed. Pack finished rolls into boxes according to job specifications. Label finished boxes accurately for shipment or inventory. Re-label and re-package finished products when required. Assist with basic printing plate preparation, including marking and trimming excess plate material when needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and removing loose materials. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Report quality or production problems to the supervisor. Complete production paperwork accurately. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Previous label, printing, packaging, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience operating label rewinders or inspecting pressure-sensitive labels is a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements. Ability to lift and move boxes and rolls of labels as required. Ability to visually inspect small print and label defects accurately.
