Flooring Manufacturing Location:
Tracy, CA Schedule:
Monday-Friday (Mandatory Overtime)
Shift:
4:00 AM-2:30
PM Pay Rate:
$19.00 per hour

Empire Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator for a flooring manufacturing company in Tracy, CA. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring the finishing line, including laminating equipment, to ensure products meet quality and production standards. Primary Duties Monitor and adjust padding as it is fed into the laminator. Monitor and adjust laminating rollers to ensure netting and lamination films are properly applied. Control line speeds to maximize production efficiency. Operate and maintain equipment, including ink jet date coders, side trim saws, and line-speed controls. Directly assist with and control finishing line operations. Remove scrap materials and place them in designated areas. Maintain effective communication with other departments. Immediately report machinery or equipment issues to the Supervisor. Follow all company safety, environmental, quality, and conduct policies. Identify and report product, process, or quality issues. Assist in preventing non-conforming products from continuing through production until issues are corrected. Other Duties and Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the laminating area. Follow all safety procedures and environmental policies. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with strong attention to quality. Ability to read and write. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for the entire shift. Frequent bending, twisting, and repetitive movements. Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dust and debris. Ability to work required overtime.
