Job Description
Paper Source Converting & Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking a qualified Machine Operator responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating production machinery. The selected candidate will ensure the efficient and continuous operation of manufacturing lines while maintaining safety and quality standards. Successful candidates will be dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to teamwork. On-the-job training will be provided to enhance technical skills and performance. Responsibilities Set up machines (including calibration, cleaning, and adjustments) to begin the production process. Control and fine-tune machine settings such as speed, feed, and tolerances. Feed raw materials or components into semi-automated machinery. Inspect parts and finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards. Conduct routine testing of machine operations to identify and prevent malfunctions. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or process issues during production. Verify output quality and identify machine-related errors or defects. Maintain accurate production and quality records. Ensure all work areas are organized, safe, and compliant with company procedures. Skills and Qualifications Must have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience in paper converting or a related production process is strongly desired. Knowledge of handling corrugated boxes, plastic, and paper materials is preferred. Demonstrated understanding of standard production procedures. Strict adherence to health, safety, and PPE requirements. Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Effective teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills. Physical stamina and strength sufficient for extended standing and material handling tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
