to run our press brake machine. Candidates will be given a shop math assessment at time of interview. Potential candidates should have reliable transportation and strong work ethic.

SUMMARY :

Performs simple set-up and operation of machinery in the Processing Group i.e. Saw, Press Brake, Tube Laser, and Rolls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Start and observe machine operation to detect malfunctions, adjust machine controls and offsets. Make spot checks of completed parts to ensure that machine is holding tolerances. Processes all paperwork according to Standard Operating Procedures. Keeps work area neat and organized at all times to promote an image of quality and a safe environment. Ability to learn the safe operation of overhead cranes. Other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous plate forming experience. Knowledge of ETS 3000 and Accurpress operation is highly desired SKILLS and

ABILITIES

Ability to perform machine setup, read tooling lists, blueprints and manufacturing documentation. Ability to use standard measuring equipment to measure dimensions and tolerances.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to organize work and communicate effectively with coworkers. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to answer questions effectively before small groups of customers or departmental meetings.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to read blueprints and understand dimensional tolerances. Ability to convert decimals to fractions and fractions to decimals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform general algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
