Medical & Defense Manufacturing Position Overview We are hiring Production Operators for a growing plastics manufacturer that produces high-quality products for the medical and defense industries. This is a great opportunity for dependable candidates looking to build long-term manufacturing experience in a professional production environment. Production Operators will work as part of a team manufacturing, inspecting, assembling, and packaging plastic components while following established production and quality standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and able to maintain a consistent pace throughout the shift. Available Shifts 1st
Shift:
Monday-Saturday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-11:00 PM 3rd
Shift:
Monday-Friday, 10:30 PM-7:00
AM Pay:
$18.00-$25.00/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Schedule and days worked may vary based on production needs. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment according to company procedures. Assist with the manufacturing of plastic components and products. Load, unload, and handle materials used in the production process. Assemble and package finished products. Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet established quality standards. Follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures. Accurately complete production paperwork and documentation as required. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Identify and report quality issues or equipment problems to supervisors. Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Follow all company policies and procedures. Perform other manufacturing and production duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous manufacturing, production, plastics, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred but may not be required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures. Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift. Ability to frequently bend, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and wear required personal protective equipment. Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail throughout the workday. Ideal Candidate We are looking for candidates who are reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and interested in a long-term manufacturing opportunity. Because these products are used in medical and defense applications, quality and attention to detail are extremely important. Previous plastics or manufacturing experience is a plus, but we are also interested in candidates with a strong work history who are willing to learn and grow with the company.
