Currently seeking a machine operator for the Spring Autoloop Department.
Pay Rate:
$22 Hourly Why Work Here? 15 days PTO in year 1 once perm! Strong benefits and 401K plan. Ability to cross train in different areas and truly grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for working in whatever area as needed, and utilizing a wide variety of skills to complete various job duties within the manufacturing department. Operating/monitoring heat set equipment, bench top resistance welders, automatic power press, secondary automatic press, spring coiler, spring secondary grinder, spring kick press, spring automatic set out machine, bench grinder, assembly equipment, riveters, fixtures, gages etc. Responsible for stopping the machine when parts do not meet requirements. Alert to deviation changes-visual only. Use and understand principles of quality control. Maintains production records. May be required to stack skids or pallets in designated areas. May be required to dispose of scrap, cardboard boxes, etc. May be required to perform packing duties. This includes receiving packing instructions to customer specifications, insuring correct packing materials are being used and cartons are properly labeled. May be required to assemble packing materials as required.
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and write in English to follow instructions. Manual dexterity to operate machinery for precision work. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds of objects from a low to higher position.
