Envelope Operator 2nd Shift Newington, CT Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for operating machinery? Our client is seeking a dedicated Envelope Operator to join their dynamic team on the 2nd shift. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely production of customer mailings, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Responsibilities of the Envelope Operator 2nd Shift Set up and operate envelope inserting and mailing machines. Load materials such as envelopes, inserts, and paper into equipment. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance. Complete production documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures. Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals. Requirements of the Envelope Operator 2nd Shift High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operating experience is preferred but not required. Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new equipment. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Basic math and reading skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality.
