Job Description

Join a well-established precision cable and wire manufacturing company as an Extruder Operator! This role is ideal for someone with wire and cable production experience — you'll set up and run extruders, center cable to insulation within tight tolerances, and perform in-process testing to ensure quality standards are met. Prior extrusion experience is highly preferred. This is a 3rd shift role, Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate extruder at required speeds and tolerances Center cable to insulation within required specifications Complete required in-process tests on cable Load and unload pay-off reels Fill in on other extrusion lines and assist across the work floor as needed Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the work area Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by the supervisor Work required overtime as needed to meet production demands
Qualifications:
1 year of extrusion experience preferred; wire & cable background highly preferred Mechanical ability, ability to read a micrometer, and pass a color test Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Extremely detail-oriented with good time management skills Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
INDFM Pay:
$21.00 - $21.50 per hour
