Job Description
Manufacturing Associate - Cable Operator - 3rd Shift $20.00/hour Join a well-established precision cable and wire manufacturing company as a Cable Operator! This role is great for someone with mechanical aptitude looking to build a career in production — you'll set up and run cable machines, perform in-process testing, and take on a variety of tasks across the department. Prior cable experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right candidate with general production machine experience. This is a 3rd shift role, Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate cable machines at required speeds and tolerances Complete required in-process tests on cable per manufacturing specifications Load and unload reels Fill in on other cable lines and assist across the work floor as needed Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the work area Accurately use a micrometer and other measuring tools Perform miscellaneous tasks as directed by the manager Work required overtime as needed to meet production demandsQualifications:
Mechanical ability and willingness to learn cable production processes Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Extremely detail-oriented with good time management skills Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Must be legally eligible to work in the United States INDFM Workforce Solutions is committed to full compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations.
