Sanitation Utility:

Cleaning the equipment and lines necessary for manufacturing products. Working with mild chemicals while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required to ensure safety. Reading and utilizing checklists to ensure compliance with validated sanitation operating procedures then filling out end of shift paperwork validating work completion. Detailed cleaning of equipment and structures with provided tools, including scrub pads, brushes, picks and paper towels. Inspecting equipment with a flashlight to verify successful cleaning. Here are some of the tasks that you could expect to perform during the workday as a Sanitation Operator in

Manufacturing:

• Perform the full 7-step sanitation process on processing equipment using high-pressure water, chemicals, and manual cleaning methods.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to thoroughly clean hard-to-reach areas and remove product debris from belts, pipes, and machinery.
• Safely handle and apply acids, caustics, and sanitizing agents while wearing required PPE
• Inspect equipment and validate cleanliness, then complete end-of-shift documentation to confirm sanitation activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and food-safe work environment, including routine facility cleaning and reporting any sanitation or safety concerns.

We are open 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and o r jobs are physical! As a Sanitor, you can expect to work on your feet the entirety of your shift near heavy machinery in a loud manufacturing environment. We wear productive gear (think of a HAZMAT suit) to ensure safety is maintained at all times. FritoLay manufacturing facilities are also large. While we want everyone to feel comfortable, our ability to control the temperature is limited. Indoor warehouse working conditions are impacted by seasons and the weather. Here are the minimum qualifications required for this job: You are 18 years of age or older You will be required to work on weekends, holidays as well as off shift You can climb, climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods with or without a reasonable accommodation You are willing to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant You are willing and able to work in an environment that has extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces Our application takes 20-25 minutes to finish on any device.
