Milford, CT Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 10 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Basic math High school diploma or GED Attention to detail Hand tools Quality control records management Mechanical troubleshooting CNC machining Surface mount technology Full Job Description Role and Responsibilities Qualifications and Education Requirements Strong math and numerical comprehension Basic understanding of 3-axis CNC/SMT machine operation (X, Y, Z movement) High school diploma or equivalent required Familiarity with traceability procedures and quality documentation Ability to lift, push, and assist with loads up to 60 lbs Basic knowledge of hand tools and safe tool handling Preferred Skills Ability to work in a controlled clean-room or semi-clean-room environment Understanding of resin handling, mixing ratios, pot life, and curing requirements Familiarity with PPE requirements and safe handling of chemicals used in LED encapsulation Attention to detail for identifying bubbles, surface defects, and curing inconsistencies Ability to follow strict process instructions, work instructions, and SOPs Comfortable working around automated dispensing systems, fixturing, and curing equipment Basic troubleshooting skills for machine alarms, flow issues, and material feed inconsistencies Strong focus on quality, consistency, and documentation to ensure product reliability Ability to maintain workstation cleanliness to prevent contamination or defects
