This role ensures the precise application of solder to electronic components, maintaining the highest standards of quality, reliability, and production efficiency. This position plays a crucial role in minimizing defect and maintaining production schedules. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor selective soldering equipment to ensure accurate and consistent PCB assembly production. Program and adjust machine settings, including temperature, flux, and solder parameters, to meet product specifications and quality standards. Inspect soldered assemblies for defects and verify compliance with IPC and customer quality requirements. Perform routine machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and improve soldering processes. Maintain production records, process documentation, and inspection results to support traceability and reporting. Follow all safety procedures and properly handle soldering materials, chemicals, and required personal protective equipment (PPE). Meet production schedules and output goals while maintaining a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement. Who You Are Required Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the U.S. in compliance with ITAR regulations. High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience as a Selective Soldering Machine Operator or in a similar electronics manufacturing role. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and J-STD standards. Proficient in soldering techniques and selective soldering machine operation. Basic knowledge of electronics, soldering, and PCB assembly processes. Ability to identify soldering defects. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills for monitoring machine performance and documenting production data.

Preferred Qualifications:

Technical or vocational training in electronics or related fields is preferred. Certification in SMT or electronics-related fields preferred. (IPC-A-610, J-STD)

Work Environment:

Standing for long periods, lifting, and bending may be required. Some shifts may involve overtime or weekend work based on production schedules.
