Click here to learn more. Job Description EBAD seeks a skilled technician for the position of Energetics Technician, reporting to the Production Supervisor. The position is located in Simsbury, CT.
Responsibilities:
The Energetics Technician will perform a variety of tasks to build and package energetic devices in support of the Energetics Assembly Value Stream.
Responsibilities include:
Adherence to all safety standards and work instructions. Perform assembly and inspection operations in accordance with detailed manufacturing instructions, product drawings and quality plans. Perform coreload analysis on energetic materials. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and documentation. Assist engineers in manufacturing process development activities under direction of the engineer's written instructions. Support inventory maintenance of component parts and materials. Setup and maintain work cells in accordance with 6S principles. Provide feedback to engineers and supervisor for improvements.
Requirements:
Positive attitude, flexible and energetic, ability to work independently. Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment. Ability to read and understand written instructions in English. Must have a high school diploma. Contribute towards continuous improvement initiatives. Preferred skills : Experience with assembly operations including, but not limited to: torquing, bonding, cutting, filing, bending and laser welding. Experience with lab equipment including, but not limited to: precision weight scales, graduated cylinders, and calipers/micrometers. Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel.
