Who We Are:
ESCO Maritime Solutions is a world leader in Signature Management and Power Conversion solutions for the US and UK naval defense market. Our solutions enable critical mission system capabilities and increase naval stealth on submarine and surface ship platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble products to engineering specifications and drawings using tools provided Use soldering irons, microscope, solder pots, and hand tools to perform work Assemble parts and perform tasks such as harness installation, wire stripping/crimping, Sub and final assemblies May assemble prototype units for engineering Recommend solutions to assembly problems regarding fixtures and tools Assist other Assemblers with questions related to the assembly of our products
Required Skills:
1+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate High School diploma or equivalent Experience in using basic manufacturing equipment, small tools such as tweezers and multimeters, torque and force gauges, etc Experience assembling parts under a microscope Soldering experience This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required
Export Authorization Desired Skills:
Experience as an assembler in defense manufacturing or aerospace Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension) Ability to work well on a team as well as alone Physical requirements: Ability to sit for an extending period Ability to work with hands in a repetitive cycle Ability to work all day with a microscope Eligibility for benefits begins on the first day of employment to include 401k, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, Stock Purchase Program, Life insurance and Disability!
