woodstock, connecticut Posted 4/8/2026 Closes 7/31/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $20.00 - $22.00 per hour Temp to Perm 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_174422 Spherion CT are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our Drill Room team on second shift. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:
Operate drill press and other machinery to produce precision parts to specification Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and technical instructions Perform set-ups, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of drill equipment Inspect parts during and after production to ensure quality standards are met Use measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers Maintain accurate production and quality records Ensure proper material handling and organization of work area Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals Working hours: 4:00 PM - 12:30AM Skills:
Experience operating drill presses or working in a drill room Familiarity with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers) Experience in a production or industrial manufacturing environment ...
