Job Description
Senate Sergeant at Arms Washington, District of Columbia As a Printing and Reprographics Specialist within Printing Graphics and Direct Mail's (PGDM) Capitol Hill Facility, you will play a crucial role in processing high priority jobs for Senators, Committees, Support Offices and more. In this role, you will operate a diverse range of high-volume printing, finishing, bindery, and mailing equipment commonly used in professional production environments. This equipment includes, but is not limited to, inkjet presses, offset presses, digital production printers, wide-format flatbed and roll printers, flatbed cutters, industrial stitchers, foil stamping machines, programmable paper cutters, folders, mail sorters, shipping modules, addressing equipment, shrink-wrappers, round-cornering machines, and other finishing devices. Additionally, you will use a Print Management Information System (Print MIS) to ensure precise tracking, record-keeping, and inventory management throughout the print production process. Strong attention to detail is critical, as you will carefully review customer specifications and work orders to guarantee the accuracy and efficiency of every job. Most work and oversight in this role is performed onsite within PGDM's Capitol Hill Facility but may require you providing support in other areas of PGDM, including our Landover Print Facility (LPF) in Landover, MD. By joining our team, you will become an integral part of PGDM's vital support system for printing, bindery, and mailing needs. We value creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality print materials.
