The ideal teammate would be able to: Regularly sit on a powered industrial truck Often lift up to 50 pounds Adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time Have a good sense of balance Have good eye-hand-foot coordination Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season This position will be required to work out of our New Castle, DE warehouse; this is not a remote role. In this role as Equipment Operator , you will: Load and unload goods from containers and/or trailers. Verify load against shipping paperwork Move goods packed on pallets around the warehouse facility Stacking goods in the correct storage bins, using RF scanning Ensure loads are secure Stack empty pallets Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck's battery and lubricating equipment Examine external packaging to verify quality Work long periods including evenings and weekends when necessary Perform other related duties as assigned Job qualification requirements for this role: High School diploma or equivalent Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment Follow instructions for operating equipment and keeping records Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner Maintain a clean & safe environment May be required to use RF scanner gun Must be able to pass a forklift training course per OSHA standards In addition to amazing teammates, we also offer
